A skilled welder working in a production environment is responsible for cutting, fabrication, and welding metal using industry standard techniques and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Capacity to interpret and adhere to technical drawings to carry out project specifications
Adherence to MIG and TIG welding standards
Ability to follow verbal instructions
Operate industry standard tools and equipment including saws, grinders, and CNC machinery
Maintain equipment in a manner that does not compromise safety
Ability to weld metal components precisely using manual welding equipment
Follow safety protocol, such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective welding helmet, and proper footwear
Perform other duties as requested

Formal training via vocational or technical school and/or relevant welder certifications
Forklift experience
Aluminum MIG welding experience (brazing, soldering, wiring, and insulating)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive physical movements such as reaching, pulling, pushing and kneeling
Occasionally work overtime
Strong work ethic and dedication to production of quality work
