Position Summary
Responsible for the daily receiving and dispatching process of returnable packaging inventory at customer sites, sorting facility, and warehouses. This role is key to ensuring accurate inventory, executing inventory audits/analysis, completing inventory reconciliations, providing purchasing requirements, and conducting proper SAP transactions to ensure accuracy. Essential Functions/Key Deliverables
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for confirmation of balance of RPM at the customers.
- Responsible for verification of inbound documents vs. postings (confirmations for month closure).
- Responsible for matching/correcting invoices with operations related RPM sorting activities.
- Responsible for stock checks of the assigned areas.
- Safeguarding the incoming goods process and on time delivery.
- Submitting KPI reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of CP systems, including performing internal audits as required.
- Responsible for accurate recordings in environmental, health, safety and sustainability system (EconOnline).
- Ensuring compliance with all regulations, rules, procedures, policies and internal audits in the field of health & safety, environment and food safety
Management
- Supervising and coaching the packaging sorting facility teams regarding CP policies, procedures and rules.
- Maintaining necessary KPI´s regarding performance of packaging materials planning and supply, on time, based on the production plan requirements.
- Organizing the deliveries of returnable packaging materials from customers to sorting company.
- Organizing and attending brief meetings with the team members, to discuss the schedule and details.
- Optimizing the transfer of returnable packaging materials in order to avoid spending for incorrect delivery routes.
- Manage CP US assets, to maintain and operate at the highest level of performance.
- Manage inventory and advise procurement if/when additional orders need to be placed
- Giving instructions, monitoring work and driving operational excellence within the sorting company
- Supervising stock control regarding returnable packaging materials at sorting facility, external warehouses .
- Track and trace complaints regarding returnable packaging process.
- Check invoices related to returnable packaging materials sorting process and authorize stage one for payable department to issue payment.
- Generating reports based on returnable packaging materials movement, stock balance at customers, stock accuracy.
- Performing and assisting in inventory of stock (organizing, coordinating and performing inventory process at external warehouses, sorting facility, customers).
- Verifies correctness of packaging registration is system (propose corrective actions if necessary).
- Controlling stock rotation (assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity).
- Ensuring compliance with the occupational health & safety, environment and quality regulations.
- File claims when defective returnable packaging materials are received from customers.
- Becoming acquainted with the (un)loading schedule and production plan.
- Active preparation and participation in both internal and external audits.
Monitoring
- Check invoices related to returnable packaging materials sorting process and authorize stage one for payable department to issue payment.

- Performing and assisting in inventory of stock (organizing, coordinating and performing inventory process at external warehouses, sorting facility, customers).

- Monitor the flow of returnable packaging materials between CPUS and Clients (including other CP entities).
- Monitor the postings made by warehouse employees regarding returns of packaging from the customers.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of sorting activities.
- Monitoring the quality of the service being performed by sorting company, warehouses and transport department.
- Monitoring daily schedule and keeping records plan vs realized.
- Monitoring the activity of the sorting company to be compliant with the 5s, HACCP and WCM standards.
Improvements
- Identifying shortcomings and bottlenecks in current logistic processes.
- Initiating and discussing action plans for improvement of these processes.
- Implementing action plans, ways of working and rules and regulations related to the weekly tasks.
- Discussing work progress and advising the Logistics Manager how to improve the CPNL logistic process.
- Trainings for warehouse employees responsible for picking up transports of packaging , both internal and external.
Administration
- Maintain an accurate documentation of shipping, receiving and packaging handling related activities.
- Receiving and checking invoices related to the sorting activities performed by sorting partner.
- Compiling, maintaining and reviewing reports, daily logs and appropriate documentation from sorting facility.
- Correct registration and archiving of sorting company records (SAP postings).
- Tracks and logs product inventory, ensuring there are no discrepancies or losses.
- Create weekly reconciliation report, presenting to finance on a weekly basis.
- Reconcile inventories via SAP weekly
- Track and trace purchase orders created and sent to suppliers.
- Preparing various management reports connected to logistic process.
Safety
- Wearing and using the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the designated areas.
- Complying with all regulations, rules, procedures and policies in the field of health & safety, environment and food safety.
Communication
- Discussing delivery plan of delivered goods to customers with Customer Support team.
- Communicating with International Transport Specialists regarding returns of packaging plan and changes.
- Communicating with suppliers to agree returns of packaging plan or any last minute deviations.
- Discussing the daily return of packaging schedule, RPM quality, progress, internal and external issues that require special attention or do not go according to plan.
- Communicating with global accounting department regarding invoicing.
- Discussing identified bottlenecks and shortcomings in the current production process and possible process improvements with the Logistics Manager
Authorized To
- Monitor and adjust the daily operations regarding returns of packaging between the CPUS, customers, sorting facility and external warehouses.
- Checking RPM quantities within the warehouses, to ensure correct physical inventory and proper product storage.
- Create purchase orders for products and services.
- Initiate and implement improvement measures in the department.
- Take corrective measures regarding stock deviated.
