A DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY WITH A GLASS COMPANY IN QUAKERTOWN!

Major Job Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, experienced team-player to join our Receiving Team in Quakertown. This position is responsible for receiving products for production of our world class insulated glass windows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lifting, sorting handling Insulated Glass Units
• Racking (Palletizing) Insulated Glass Units
• Banding up Carts to transport to customer
• Loading Carts/Racks with Pallet Jack and/or forklift
• Able to complete assigned duties on time with little supervision
• A team player that is eager to be cross trained
• Data Entry into computer system

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in a receiving environment, OPERATING COMPUTERS FOR INVENTORY CONTROLS AND RECEIVING PROGRAMS (Penn Vision programs)
• Able to work in a multi-employee team manufacturing environment
• Ability to consistently lift up to 35 pounds and push 70 to 100 pounds
• Visual inspection of product (in-process quality checks)
• Fluent with measurement devices (tape measure, calipers. etc.)
• Continuously exposed to moderate manufacturing noise
• Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift
• Comfortable and familiar with wearing proper PPE
