SHIFT TIME: 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday

QC Inspectors are vital to ensure the verification of manufactured production parts. The QC Inspector role consists of spring inspection, both mechanical and physical property requirements. 

Essential Duties

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

Performs inspections as assigned on dimensions and force specifications. Accepting or rejecting first-piece, in-process and/or finished parts from inspection.

• Operating force test stands for testing force and torque.
• Reports suspected nonconforming results to QC team or Quality Manger directly as appropriate.
• Acquires knowledge through the reading and understanding of work instructions, procedures, and through in-process training by team members.
• Must have prior work experience reading blueprints
• Additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

 High School diploma or GED required. No inspector work experience required.

•  Must possess at least 2years experience quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
• Basic math computation and writing skills.
• Basic understanding of standard inspection hand tools.
• Calipers, micrometers, comparators, tape measure.
• Developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Possess an eye for detail and thoroughness with their work.
