OneSource Staffing is hiring an experienced Painter / Powder Coater / Grinder / Polisher for a steady 2nd-shift position in New Columbia, PA.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $19.00 to $22.00/hr.
• Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Location: New Columbia, PA

What You'll Do

• Grind, polish, and prep metal parts for painting and finishing
• Select the proper grinding tools, abrasive belts, wheels, and discs
• Prepare parts with filler and grind surfaces to achieve a smooth, quality finish
• Clean parts properly to ensure good paint adhesion
• Perform wet spray painting and powder coating
• Operate spray equipment, pressure pots, and diaphragm pumps
• Apply paint and finishes for complete, consistent coverage
• Inspect your own work and correct defects before parts move to the next department
• Grind and polish weld seams to a smooth, seamless finish
• Finish corners and weld seams to a smooth, rounded appearance
• Finish stainless steel oven and environmental chamber components
• Remove scratches, excess weld material, burrs, and other surface imperfections
• Maintain and clean spray equipment
• Replace worn abrasive discs, wheels, and belts

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of related experience and/or training
• Painting, grinding, polishing, or powder coating experience
• Auto body painting experience is a plus
• Ability to distinguish between stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Comfortable measuring with a tape measure and square & Basic computer skills
• Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to obtain your certification

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, reaching, and handling of materials
• Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling
• Frequently lift/move 5–25 lbs. & Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment and moderate noise
