Medical office assistants must have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain confidentiality. 

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 10am-4pm

A local womens’ healing center is looking for an all around office assistant

Experience in the job duties below is preferred:

 Light shipping/receiving (under 2 pounds; less than 5 boxes per day)

Managing a small inventory

 Assist the doctor in a one-doctor practice

Bookkeeping in Quickbooks desktop, must be experienced in Quickbooks

 Administrative duties, scheduling appointments, handling phone system, filing,

Processing payments

Most interaction with patients/clients is virtual/VOIP/Zoom; however, an in person visit is also possible.

• *Greeting patients, checking them in, and helping them fill out forms 

• *Answering phones, making appointments, and managing schedules 

  *Maintaining patient records accurately and securely, including accessing electronic health records (EHR) 

   *Protecting patient health information, handling complaints, and prioritizing patient questions 

  • *Ensuring compliance with regulations and protecting patient data 

Must be comfortable discussing womens’ health issues in an encouraging and kind environment.
