Now Hiring: Medical Assistant (Part Time)
Are you passionate about helping people feel better on their feet—literally? A rapidly growing podiatrist surgery practice is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our close-knit team. This is your opportunity to work side-by-side with a double board-certified foot and ankle surgeon, gain hands-on clinical experience, and grow into a full-time role starting August 2025.

Grow With Us: Start part time (20–25 hrs/week) and expand into a full-time role by August—with added responsibilities and training.
Team First Culture: We’re a small but mighty team that values collaboration, communication, and celebrating wins together.
Patient Care: Welcome patients, take vitals, update EMRs, and assist with room setup.
Clinical Support: Aid in procedures like nail avulsions, wound care, and guided injections.
Imaging Assistance: Help position patients for digital X-rays and fluoroscopy (we’ll train you!).
Patient Education: Ensure patients leave confident about their post-treatment care and follow-up.
Sterilization & Inventory: Autoclave instruments and keep exam rooms fully stocked.
Front Desk Backup: Pitch in with phones, scheduling, and insurance checks when needed.
Must-Haves:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in patient care.
Calm, confident communication—especially with nervous patients.
Ability to multi task under pressure.
Basic computer skills (experience with cloud-based EMR a plus).
Nice-to-Haves:
Previous experience in a medical assistant or clinical support role—especially in podiatry, ortho, or sports med.
CPR/BLS certification.
Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and insurance work flows.
Schedule: 25–30 hours/week through July; 35–40 hours/week beginning August.
Hours: Weekdays with occasional half-day Saturdays.
Pay: $17.00/hour to start; performance review at full-time transition.
Full-Time Benefits (Starting August): Paid time off, uniform allowance, and continuing education reimbursement.
