Machine Operator
Pay: $18–$19 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and safe output. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery based on production requirements and load raw materials
• Operate machines safely and efficiently to meet production goals
• Inspect products for quality; make minor adjustments when necessary
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report concerns to maintenance or supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Accurately record production data and report any issues
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
• Ability to read and follow work orders and production documentation
• Good hand-eye coordination; ability to handle small materials and wire
