Job Opening: Designer / Drafter (AutoCAD)
Location: Phillipsburg, NJ
Business: Architectural Stone Design, Fabrication & Installation

Our company specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of architectural stone for both commercial and residential customers. We are currently seeking a full-time Designer / Drafter with a working knowledge of AutoCAD to join our team.

Position Overview:

This role focuses primarily on 2D drafting, with occasional use of isometric views for more complex fabrications. The ideal candidate will work closely with both residential and commercial project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Layout design for sinks, faucets, and cooktops in residential projects

• Material take-offs and quantity estimations for commercial jobs

• Preparation of shop drawings and cut sheets

• Reading and interpreting architectural drawings

Preferred (but not required) Background:

Experience in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:

• Commercial or residential construction

• Woodworking or fabrication shop

• Automotive or mechanical repair

• Machine shop operations

• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Benefits: Health insurance and paid vacation after a trial period
