Job Title: Maintenance Technician & Facilities Specialist

The Maintenance Technician & Facilities Specialist will be responsible for the smooth and reliable operation of production equipment and the overall maintenance of our facility. The right candidate will be a self-starter who can implement a preventative maintenance program, respond to equipment breakdowns, and handle a variety of facility-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage a preventative maintenance program for all production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues as they arise.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order to minimize downtime.
• Maintain an organized inventory of critical spare parts and ensure timely reordering.
• Support and participate in both general and targeted safety initiatives; ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform a wide range of facilities-related work including repairs, installations, and general upkeep of the building and grounds.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs using computer systems.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Solid experience in industrial maintenance or a similar hands-on technical role
• 5-7 years maintenance mechanic experience on extrusion and rolled materials machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Willingness to take ownership of equipment reliability and facilities maintenance
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and stay organized
• Commitment to safety and quality

Plusses (Not Required but Preferred):

• Electrical experience (e.g., motor controls, wiring, sensors)
• Extrusion process experience or knowledge of plastics/foaming systems
• Computer skills, including Excel, Sheets, Word, and ERP software
