Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician (Trailer Fleet & Modular Framing)  - Snyder County, PA

Are you a skilled technician with hands-on experience in both vehicle maintenance and construction? OneSource Staffing has partnered with a premier modular home builder in Snyder County to find a dedicated Maintenance Technician for their frame shop.

This is a direct-hire opportunity offering a stable, 4-day work week, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package with a company that values long-term employee commitment.

Position Details:

• Shift: Day Shift, Monday to Thursday
• Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Mandatory 50-hour work week)

Pay Range:

• Base: $20.00 to $22.00/hr. (based on experience & position)
• Perfect Attendance Bonus: +$2.50/hr. (paid weekly!)
• Total Potential Earnings: $22.50 to $24.50/hr.
• For a certified welder, the pay rate could be a little higher, depending on your experience level.

Frame Shop – Primary Duties

• Maintain company carrier fleet: change axles, tires, brakes, and perform general mechanical repairs.
• Perform welding & cutting tasks as needed for framing and equipment maintenance.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Fleet Maintenance: Perform essential mechanical repairs on the company's tractor-trailer fleet, including changing axles, tires, and brakes to ensure operational safety and readiness.
• Welding & Fabrication: Utilize welding and cutting equipment for trailer frame repairs and general equipment maintenance as needed.
• Modular Construction: Read and interpret blueprints to measure, cut, and assemble wood and structural components for modular home floors, walls, and roof sections.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate carpentry tools, power saws, nail guns, and forklifts to meet daily and weekly production schedules in a safety-focused environment.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

• Required Experience: 2-3 years of proven mechanical repair experience on semi-trucks or trailers (axles, tires, brakes).
• Required Skills: Proficiency in welding and torch cutting, forklift operation, and the ability to pass a measurement test (1/16" scale).
• Background: Must have commercial construction experience and be able to pass a standard background check, drug screen, and Work Fitness Evaluation.
• Reliability: A demonstrated history of reliability and job tenure with previous employers is highly valued.
