Our clients, are manufacturing facilities in the Allentown/Bethlehem Area and seek experienced Maintenance Mechanic's for both Day & Night Shifts. These individual's are primarily responsible for all equipment and troubleshooting of production equipment throughout the production facility.  

Responsibilities:

• Install and repair equipment and fixtures
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance on production machines   
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Read blueprints, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling production and facilities equipment.
• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers or field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts
• Test electronics units, using standard test equipment, and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.

• Adjust or replace defective or improperly functioning mechanical components using hand tools
• Perform preventative maintenance or calibration of equipment or systems.
• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Previous experience in mechanical or other related fields
• Familiarity with blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
