Our client seeks an experienced Logistics Manager is responsible for all transportation and dunnage management across the company’s US operations and customer base. The Logistics Manager position is a key bridge between production, sales, and the customer. As a leadership role, it requires the ability to build a strong team that manages and delivers on safety, customer satisfaction, and operations excellence.
Skills:
• Excellent written / verbal & listening communication skills
• Excellent planning & organizational skills
• Ability to lead / manage / develop and train
• High proficiency in use of PC software including Microsoft Office applications
• Manage the import/export process
• Transportation & Dunnage packaging process
• Team building
• Customer Order Fulfillment Knowledge
• Create, Manage and Forecast KPI's of Logistics and Dunnage
Education & Experience:
• College Degree preferred, or a combination of experience and education
• 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain and Shipping & Receiving operations
• Microsoft Office, SAP experience along with TMS Technology and carrier management software
