Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator (1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

What You’ll Do

Take ownership of the full molding process and play a key role in delivering high-quality plastic components:

• Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines to produce parts that meet exact specifications
• Load raw materials (powder or pellets) into hoppers and initiate molding cycles
• Safely remove finished products and perform detailed trimming to eliminate excess material
• Reclaim and recycle scrap material to maximize efficiency and reduce waste
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify defects such as cracks, bubbles, or inconsistencies
• Measure and verify parts to ensure strict compliance with quality standards
• Quickly identify and report any production issues or discrepancies
• Organize and prepare completed parts for the next stage of processing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while consistently following safety protocols and PPE requirements

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• 6–12 months of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding or similar manufacturing environments
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
• Ability to read and follow safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedures
• Basic math skills for measuring and verifying product specifications
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to follow instructions and adapt in a production setting
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Active, hands-on role requiring extended standing and frequent movement
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Exposure to machinery, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels
• Requires strong visual focus, including attention to fine details and measurements
