Industrial Inside Sales Representative is a cost estimator for stock as well as for manufacturing parts. Communication with customers is conducted in a fast-paced environment via phone, fax, and email.
Responsibilities:
• Telephone sales with existing and potential customers
• Provide price, availability, and product information
• Prepare sales proposals and quotes
• Pursue new sales leads
• Edit quotes and orders for correct items, quantities, and pricing
• Deliver high level customer service
• Reach monthly/annual sales goals
• Know pricing, margins, and profitability
• Develop market knowledge relative to products and competition
• Effectively communicate information to other team members
Qualifications:
• Inside sales experience
• Past industrial or related experience a plus
• Metallurgical knowledge a plus
• Exceptional command of Microsoft Windows programs
• Skills in relationship-building & business development
• Excellent memory and organizational skills
• Math and computer keyboard skills
• Team player with positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Detail oriented
• College degree preferred
