Job Duties

You would be responsible for preventive, predictive, inspection and repair service to manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, trouble-shoot, test and otherwise assess machines and equipment to determine root cause of malfunctions. Technician 1 must be able to effectively conduct this function on basic electrical components and on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, blast and spray-paint systems.
• Perform preventative and repair services on equipment and on facilities of the establishment (septic, lighting, grounds, etc.)
• Set up and operate machining tools (lathe, grinder, drills, presses and milling equipment) to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools.

Education & Experience

• At least 2 years’ experience as a maintenance service technician in an industrial manufacturing facility or similar environment is preferred.  Combination of applicable experience and training is required.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and mechanical drawings. (Test Required)
• Knowledge and ability in maintenance repair, installation and service on applicable electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems/ equipment is required.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret measuring and testing devices.  Must be competent in math to add, subtract, multiply, and divide measurements (whole numbers, fractions and decimals).

Requirements

Background and drug tests are required for review of eligibility, all prescreening is performed at no cost to the applicant. This facility supports Assembly and Welding operations on concrete, so Safety footwear and dress code will be discussed and required.
