You will participate in detailed technical design, development and implementation of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Working within an Agile environment, you will actively participate in story planning and detailed collaborative team meetings, while providing input for architectural design decisions, and developing code to meet the acceptance criteria. The position posting is for a talented, energetic, and motivated individual whose responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Create and support embedded application software for water management systems.
• Perform all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements, design,
• implementation, testing, documentation and maintenance.
• Take responsibility for the performance and reliability of all assigned systems.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years professional software development experience in a team environment.
• High proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Working knowledge of embedded IDE’s like Eclipse.
• Experience working with revision control and issue tracking systems.
• Experience developing applications using serial communication: I2C, UART, etc.
• Embedded Linux application level software development experience preferred.
• Knowledge of object-oriented principals, design patterns and enterprise systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a self-starter, capable of quickly learning new technologies.
