Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Ambulatory Care Route Service Driver to provide scheduled delivery and service to assigned healthcare customers. This position is responsible for driving a company vehicle, delivering and supplying products, managing customer inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company service vehicle safely and efficiently throughout an assigned route.
• Load and unload products and supplies, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Make timely deliveries to assigned customers according to the scheduled route.
• Count, document, and maintain customer inventory.
• Ensure daily clean returns are properly packed and prepared for delivery.
• Check packing slips and ensure all items needed for upcoming deliveries are accounted for.
• Communicate shortages, customer concerns, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete all required delivery paperwork and service documentation.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns and help resolve service issues.
• Conduct customer surveys and communicate feedback to management.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any vehicle issues.
• Maintain accurate service and vehicle logs.
• Assist with reviewing and communicating outstanding invoices when requested.
• Identify opportunities to introduce customers to additional company products and services.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Schedule & Availability

• Start time: 3:30 AM
• Approximately 10-hour shifts, or until all scheduled deliveries are completed.
• Days of work may vary based on route assignments and business needs.
• Employees will typically work the same days and start time for 2–3 weeks at a time before the schedule changes.
• Employees will be trained on and expected to learn and cover all assigned routes, so flexibility is important.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• DOT Medical Examination Certificate required.
• Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Previous sales, customer service, delivery, or route service experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Comfortable working outdoors and interacting directly with customers.
