Our client, a manufacturing company located in Portland, PA is in need of a Full Time - Janitor/Custodian.

$16.50 per hour - Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm

Duties Include:

• Perform commercial cleaning and organization of facility offices, breakrooms, locker rooms, etc.
• Maintain a clean external shipping dock area
• Restock and replace janitorial supplies throughout the facility
• Assist in basic facilities maintenance to ensure a well-maintained environment (nothing mechanical)
• Empty mini dumpsters utilizing a forklift
• Shovel snow on steps and walks around assigned buildings
• Responsible for executing all safety protocols - safety is critical to everyone's success.

Qualifications Required:

• Prior experience in industrial cleaning, basic facilities maintenance, or custodial work is preferred.
• Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and needs minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering exceptional results
• Have a strong work ethic - dependable and demonstrate good attendance
• The employee is required to pass and obtain a forklift certification
• Able to work Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Able to meet the physical qualifications for this position which include:
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Standing for an extended period of time
• Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist, and reach
• Working in both hot and cold conditions
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
• Need to be able to read, write, and understand English
• Lastly, have a positive attitude and be willing to assist others when needed
