We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and the ability to operate CNC machines with precision and accuracy. This role involves working with various materials, and requires a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality components that meet strict specifications.

Requires 8 years minimum experience of documented work history in CNC Machinist role

Duties

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines and other machining equipment.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, bore gauges, and other tools to ensure accuracy in production.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to produce parts according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on CAM programming for optimized machining processes.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating milling machines and understanding of plastics injection molding processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with programming CNC machines and using CAM software for production tasks.
• Strong knowledge of power tools and machining techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
