CDL - A Driver / Lumber Yard Floater - Local Direct Hire Opportunity

OneSource Staffing is hiring on behalf of our client for a Direct Hire, CDL - A Driver / Lumber Yard Floater in Kreamer, PA. This is a hybrid role: you’ll drive locally - two days a week and work in the lumber yard three days a week.

Important: To be considered, your resume must show recent CDL experience as a primary job duty (listed in both your job title and description, not just under “skills”).

Job Duties

• Safely operate a CDL-A commercial vehicle, hauling lumber to and from the yard.
• Split time between driving/hauling and assisting in the yard with production or operations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections (required during the interview process).
• Load/unload lumber and move materials through the yard.
• Operate equipment such as a knuckle boom log loader and front-end wheel loader.
• Accurately complete paperwork and use tracking programs.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday & Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Pay Rate: $20 to $22 per hour.
• Environment: Outdoor work in all weather conditions; must be able to lift/move 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Clean driving record.
• Lumber yard experience required.
• Willingness to split time between driving and yard work.
• Ability to walk, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the day.
