Our client, located in Northeastern Pennsylvania is hiring a Benefits Professional. In this role you will be the point person for servicing the Benefits as well as some HR processes.

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Benefit Specialist to join our team as we help businesses across various industries navigate the complexities of employee benefits. You will play a key role in the smooth administration of our clients' benefit programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing exceptional service to their employees.

The Benefits administrator is responsible for the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical insurance, supplemental insurances, and 401(k) plan for clients as well as for day to day operation. Some H.R. generalist duties may be required from time to time.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in benefits administration, including experience with open enrollment, claims advocacy, and HRIS systems.
• Ability to think quickly in a fast-paced work environment
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Effective organizational skills and time management skills
• Experience with automated HRIS systems – ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, Paycom, Employee Navigator
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to interact with all levels of employees within the organization
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong knowledge of all lines of group health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance benefits.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Open Enrollment: Assist clients and their employees with open enrollment periods, including explaining benefits, processing enrollments, and managing communication materials.
• Participant Enrollment & Disenrollment: Process new employee enrollments and handle mid-year life event changes, ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates.
• Claims Advocacy: Advocate for clients and their employees with insurance carriers regarding claims processing and denied claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
• HRIS Technology: Work with HRIS systems to upload benefit options, manage data integration, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• 401(k) Administration: Assist with 401(k) plan administration, including employee education, contribution processing, and account maintenance.
• COBRA: Manage COBRA eligibility and enrollment, ensuring compliance with regulations and accurate premium collection.
• FMLA: Process and manage FMLA leave requests, adhering to all legal requirements and maintaining employee confidentiality.
• Cafeteria Plan: Administer cafeteria plan elections and contributions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Benefits Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of all lines of group health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance benefits, including plan design, eligibility rules, and claims procedures.
• Communication & Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with clients, their employees, and insurance carriers, providing clear and timely information.
• Problem-Solving & Accuracy: Analyze data, identify and resolve issues proactively, and ensure accuracy in all benefit administration tasks.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on changes in benefit regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
