Looking for an opportunity to use your current skills and experience with a leading plastic injection molder located in Chicago, IL ? This is the position to apply for!

We are hiring experienced injection mold maintenance technicians. If you possess these skills and are able to put customer service as a top priority, are a  strong decision maker, able to communicate with your team as well as work independently this could be your next career!

Strong background in electrical and hydraulic maintenance and repair (i.e. repairing/maintaining motors, switches, wiring). Specific plastic injection molding experience is a plus but is not required.

Experience and knowledge of proper operation of injection molding press, material handling equipment, overhead crane and ability to operate a forklift is required.

 

HOURS & PAY:

7am to 3pm Monday to Friday - overtime/weekend work when required

$26.00 - 27.00 per hour DOE

 

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of Injection Mold Maintenance experience
  • Experience with hydraulics, pumps, air compressors
  • Hands-on in troubleshooting electrical and PLC knowledge issues
  • Candidate that have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within mold setting are strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization and follow up skills

JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES:

safely maintain production equipment and meet the maintenance department’s scheduled preventive maintenance obligations while assisting with configuration and set-up of production molds.

Experience and knowledge of proper operation of injection molding press, material handling equipment, overhead crane and ability to operate a forklift is required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute timely hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machine repairs
    • Safe, efficient and timely completion of preventive maintenance assignments
    • Promote and maintain positive working relationships
    • Maintain safe working conditions at all times
  • Maintains composure and patience when new opportunity presents itself and views those situations as chance to learn and grow. Takes initiative with manager to participate in, and is committed to, training programs.
